1. One or more types of material
Decide what type of material you want to share: an article, image or film clip. Of course, you can also upload all three types of material at once.
2. Article
Give your article a heading and write your article in the text field. There are no limits on how long or short your article can be. Bear in mind that you should word your article carefully and not make any personal attacks on anyone (read the policy and rules for uploading material to vastervik.com here). One tip is to write your article in MS Word and then paste the text into the text field.
3. Image
Select image by clicking on the button and choosing from folders and files on your PC. Give the picture a title and briefly describe it. Click on the button “Upload image”. Continue to upload further images if you wish.
4. Film clip
Copy the web address (URL) from a clip you have uploaded to YouTube from the web browser’s address field and paste it into the field “Web address (URL) for film clip”. Then enter the title and description.

5. “Labelling” the content
Label the content as accurately as possible. Select the category and location that best suit the content. Use the free text field to supplement your labelling or if you can’t find an alternative that suits you.
6. Signature
Enter your name and e-mail address. Your material will be linked to your e-mail address so that we can reward you when you continue to upload material to vastervik.com. Read and agree to our policy and rules for uploading material to vastervik.com. Choose whether you wish to receive the “Highlights from Västervik” newsletter by e-mail approx. six times a year. Write in the number shown in the grey panel.

7. Preview
Click on the preview button to upload your material.
