Rent a cottage on the beautiful island of Björkö. Björkö is in Tjust Archipelago, between Loftahammar and Västervik. There are two cabins with four beds per room and if required two extra beds. On the farm there are cows and calves, horses, dogs, rabbits, cats, chickens and ducks. As a guest you are welcome to feed the chickens and ducks, gather eggs for breakfast or to make pancakes, go for a walk with the friendly and the kind-natured dogs or play with the rabbit. If you want to ride there are horses for rent.
If you are interested in fishing, you’re welcome to borrow a rowing boat and see if you can catch some pike or perch. It is also quite pleasant to sit on the jetty and fish for perch, whether you get a bite or not you’ll get the chance to unwind and relax.
If the weather is good, you may like to go for a swim, there are many places for swimming. You can choose to swim from jetties, rocks or the shallow child-friendly sandy beaches. If the weather turns inclement, or if you come during the spring or the autumn, you have free access to the wood-heated sauna, located a few meters from the shore.
